My name is Holly. My family and I live outside the small town of Coats, NC which is located about 30 miles south of Raleigh (the capitol of NC). I acquired my first cattle dog when I was 13 years old. She came from a friend that was unable to keep the dog due to her living situation. Her name was Tazie and she was by far the best dog my family and I had ever owned. She was not a young dog when she came to me, so after several great years with us she passed away. After that, I knew that I must own another cattle dog. Before my husband, Mac and I were married in 1996 we had plans to purchase a cattle dog puppy. We wanted a red male and his name was to be Toby. It was only about a year after we were married that we had found and purchased Toby. He was one of the most gritty and loyal dogs that I have ever met. He would work cows for hours on end and would get knocked down and jump right up and go again. After that we added more cattle dogs to our collection and started breeding them, raising and selling puppies. We started out with unregistered ACD's and raised and sold many of them to great homes. After many years of dogs and many litters of puppies, due to our busy schedules and having a new baby we got out of breeding for a while. Our daughter is now 10 and we made the decision to get back into breeding and to make the switch to all AKC ACD's. So here we are! We have an absolute great group of dogs and are planning to add new ones here and there as we retire others from breeding. My husband Mac was a vet tech for over 10 years so you can be assured that our animals recieve the best care! We love spending time with our dogs. They are all wonderful and all have such different qualities and personalities. We love animals and have had quite a variety over the years, horses, cows, goats, chickens, pigs, etc... We love all of our animals and it is important to us that you love our babies too!
